SYNOPSIS
    islist(x)

    return	int

DESCRIPTION
    Determine if x is a list.  This function will return 1 if x is
    a list, 0 otherwise.

EXAMPLE
    > lst = list(2,3,4)
    > print islist(lst), islist(1)
    1 0
