    re - real part of a real or complex number

SYNOPSIS
    re(x)

TYPES
    x		real or complex

    return	real

DESCRIPTION
    If x = u + v * 1i where u and v are real, re(x) returns u.

EXAMPLE
    > print re(2), re(2 + 3i), re(-4.25 - 7i)
    2 2 -4.25
