NAME
   strtolower - transform an ASCII string to lower case

SYNOPSIS
   strtolower(x_1)

TYPES
    str                 string
    x_1                 any

    return              string

DESCRIPTION
   All ASCII upper case letters get transformed into lower case letters. This
   function can be locale dependent.

   The function returns the lowercased string.

EXAMPLE
    ; strtolower(" GNU Lesser General Public License");
    	" gnu lesser general public license"
