NAME errno - return a system error message SYNOPSIS errno(errnum) TYPES errnum int return string DESCRIPTION If a file builtin function such as fopen() encounters an error, it will return an errno number. This function will convert this number into a somewhat more meaningful string. Note that errno() may return different strings on different systems.
